Water Garden Pavilion
The Water Garden Pavilion is a vibrant recreational hub in the centre of the revitalized Thunder Bay Waterfront. Designed holistically along with the rest of the redevelopment at Prince Arthur’s Landing, it supports key activity areas located at the base of Red River Road and public portions of the park.
The Pavilion provides washrooms and changing facilities, along with a warm-up room and rest area for adjacent recreational uses. It enables park use all year round, creating an anchor for uses such as the adjacent splash pad and skating rink, children’s boat pond, and skateboard park. Facing the marina is a restaurant with panoramic views of Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant. This space is adjacent to the Mariner’s Hall, a multi-purpose space planned for hosting events, exhibitions, and summer day camp activities
